Sara Driesen is a results-driven attorney with a long history of achieving successful outcomes for her clients. She began her legal career in family law and has experience managing all aspects of dissolution and paternity actions. Sara is a strong advocate and has achieved positive results litigating issues of spousal support, child support, attorney’s fees, custody and visitation, and property division. While always willing to go to court, Sara appreciates that the cost of litigation can quickly escalate and endeavors to obtain settlements when possible.

Sara Driesen earned her Juris Doctor degree at California Western School of Law in San Diego. During law school, Sara was a Jessup International Moot Court Team Advocate and the Judges’ Coordinator for Moot Court Honors Board. Prior to law school, Sara graduated from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) where she earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a Pre-Law Concentration.

Through Sara’s psychology and legal training, she brings compassion to clients who are often enduring the most significant transition of their lives. The emotional toil of a family law matter combined with the unknown territory of the legal system creates stress for many clients. Knowing this, Sara strives to build a trusting relationship with her clients, clearly explain the legal process and the law affecting their case, and zealously advocate on their behalf to achieve their desired outcome.

Sara was selected for the 2020 Northern California Super Lawyers Rising Stars list, which is comprised of attorneys who are age 40 or younger, or in practice for ten years or less, and have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only 2.5% of attorneys in Northern California receive this distinction.

When Sara is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, and getaways to her family's mountain cabin.
