Cammila Valerio has always known she wanted to practice family law. While in college, Cammila began working at a group home for teens in the foster care system. One of her favorite aspects of the work was accompanying the children to court and advocating for their needs.

While still in law school, Cammila Valerio worked as an intern for a highly-respected family law judge. She dealt directly with judges and court personnel, and developed an understanding of the inner workings of the family court system. Cammila also worked for the Family Law Facilitator’s Office, which provided assistance to self-represented litigants.

After graduating from law school at the University of San Francisco School of Law, Cammila entered private practice in the area of family law. She developed both litigation and negotiation skills, and began developing her reputation as a strong family lawyer.

Together with her business partner Ania Bednarczyk, Cammila Valerio founded Bednarczyk & Valerio, LLP to create a law firm environment in which clients feel supported. While she is an experienced litigator, Cammila especially enjoys helping clients to reach efficient, personalized, settlements of their legal disputes in mediation, thus avoiding costly conflict. She has a natural talent for resolving cases, keeping clients grounded and helping them remain focused on their goals.

When not practicing law, Cammila enjoys attending live theater performances, keeping up with politics and current events, and spending time with family and friends.
