Malissa is an associate attorney at Bednarczyk & Valerio. Prior to becoming an attorney, she interned at every level of the California court system, including the San Francisco Superior Court, the California Court of Appeals, and the California Supreme Court. Since 2022, Malissa has worked closely with judges as a Legal Research Attorney in the United Family Court and Civil Law and Motion departments at the San Francisco Superior Court. Her prior work as a legal research attorney involved providing critical direct support to judges in reviewing pleadings (court filings), researching the law and drafting proposed tentative rulings for judges.

In her work with the Unified Family Court, Malissa garnered considerable knowledge in the area of family law, including issues of spousal and child support, and post-judgment order enforcement.

Outside of the office, Malissa enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family.
